These policies provide cover for Contract Works, Plant & Machinery (both owned and hired in) and materials on site. Public and Employer's liability can also be included.
Contract Works
Whilst your contractual work is in progress you could incur financial loss. For example, a boiler you have fitted could be stolen and until the contract is completed you would be responsible for its replacement.
In addition, if you are part way through building a new structure and it catches fire, you could be responsible for reinstating all your works (labour and materials) at your own cost.
Plant & Machinery
Cover can be included to protect your own plant and machinery, including hired items, from cement mixers to JCBs. Some hire firms may insist on you having Insurance cover before releasing their equipment.
